Ok....so I know I said I wouldn't go back in time....but something happened....awhile back and this particular thorn is still stuck in me.
A brief prequel;
I worked as a bartender at a bar in Etobicoke for six months up until last December. I met some great people and some not so great people. If there is one thing that I would change about myself...it would be my horrible judge in character. So...there I am working away....met this guy who happened to be the scum at the bottom of the barrel. YUK!!! Of course...being the sometimes loser that I can be....I get caught in his web of shit...and ended up with a tie that was going to be a struggle to get away from. Money was involved and naturally I was going to lose. I did lose! But not entirely. I may have loser moments....but I am not a stupid girl. I had collateral. I kept it in lieu of not getting my money with the full intent of selling it to retrieve what I lost. We are still connected by a third party....who happens to be one of my best friends.
Which brings us to today. This jackass is still harassing this third party for what I consider collateral. Everyone understood the circumstances when things got hairy and we had to come to a close on the situation. It was understood...among all parties involved...that I would waive the amount owing and that this jackass would get his belongings back. I did waive the outstanding amount and the jackass got all of his belongings minus his shoes. Yes....you did read that right! I kept his shoes! Why? Because I am selling them. Why? To recoup my money! How? Still working on that! LOL
Now...I am sure you are asking yourself these questions;
Are these shoes worth selling? Absolutely!!! They were very expensive when he bought them. In some cases, he hasn't even wore them. They are all in mint condition. The dude was anal....gotta give him that.
Can I even sell them? Absolutely! Fortunately....this prick has an average size foot.....10.5 to be exact.
How much am I selling them for? $50 each. LMAO.....I laugh because I even told him how much I am selling them for....and I think he cried a little!
And so there it is folks. My drama.....someone else's gift.
I have managed to sell 8 pairs so far. Have 43 to go. If you are a man or know of a man with a 10.5 size foot....that needs or would like a kick ass pair of awesome friggin shoes.....you know where to find me.
P.S. I would probably keep about 5 of them myself (converse, sneakers, timberlands).....if had 10.5 sized feet.
