Good morning folks and happy Monday to all. I would say that for the most part I am in good spirits however, I seem to be slightly on edge because I am finding my tolerance level for annoyances to be a little low today. On the bright side, I am going to my Monday Zumba class and that makes me VERY happy. LOL
I trust that everyone had an amazing weekend...maybe? Maybe not? LOL At least we had brilliant weather on our side. My weekend was action packed. Friday night went on an AMAZING date with Mr. Fabulous. He greeted me with a gift (can't go wrong there...lol!) which happened to be a very heartfelt gift...that means a lot to me. LOVE IT! We then went to Port Credit to have some dinner and enjoy the festivities. Started out with a Polish pub and had a couple drinks there. Then we went to another bar/restaurant where we had some dinner and a couple more drinks. After that....we went to the festival and listened to some music, hit up the Ferris wheel....SO FUN!!!! Every second, every minute with Mr. Fabulous is...well.....FABULOUS!!!! LOL
Saturday was hectic. I had a mellow morning up until 10:30am at which point I had to drop off my car for a service. The plan was that my dad was going to pick me up and then we would go for lunch. Well...that didn't happen. At least not like that. I walked to my parent's house because they live 10 minutes from the shop. Hung out there for 1/2 hour and then walked back to grab my car. From there I went to meet my dad/step mom, sister, nephew and bro-in-law for lunch. So great! My dad was sporting a pony tail...with his platinum white hair...lmao! He got a hair cut and now....looks like the rock star Dad that I always wanted! LOL Love you Dad!!!! From there we split up; my nephew and bro-in-law boogied and the rest of us went for a coffee. Of course my family is notorious for drama and we can't go a day without any...so during our coffee my sister gets a call from her hubby saying that he and their son are locked out of the house. Of course we hightail it out of the coffee shop and book it to my sister's house so we can let them in. Never a dull moment!!!! From there my Dad takes me to see this condo sales centre to show me a unit that he bought. Pretty cool I have to say. If I had more money...I would for sure purchase at this development. After that....we head to my house so that my Dad can see my current home...before I leave it for good. He liked it! After that...I had some dinner and got ready for the evening which was to be a shit show...and it was! I pick up my bff and we go to to the village festival. Started out at this bar by the marina....had a live band. SO GREAT! I was on a mission folks and it was going to be an easy ride....to getting hammered. Seeing as I haven't gone balls to the wall in like a month and a half....this was going to get dirty. We were joined by a new friend. I met him via one of my bffs awhile back. He just moved to my hood and I thought of showing him the ropes. I knew things were going to get freaky once the shots came out. I really can't get into detail about the night....that would be a few pages long. It was an awesome night. I did get totally hammered and I was hung to the tits yesterday. LOL
Yesterday was all about nursing my hangover. I did have to pull myself together by 4pm at which point my mom and step dad were getting back from golfing. The afternoon/evening was dedicated to family time and dinner time. So yummy and great times! The night was capped off my a visit from my stepsister and company (her family). Had some great laughs and good times.
All in all....great weekend! Now....the countdown is on folks. I am officially moving on Wednesday June 29...10 days to go. I have some major packing and planning to do in the interim. Uggghhhh!!!!
