Oh Monday...
I don't have anything major to discuss today. In fact, I am sort of struggling with what I am going to write in today's blog. I had a mellow weekend, just as I had planned. Last week was complete chaos and I really needed to chill out. I did just that. I am pretty chilled out actually. I have a workout in an hour and then that will change.
Yesterday was the ideal Sunday. I woke up and looked after my little nerd; took him for a walk. We had breakfast together. Watched a movie together; Being Elmo. I loved Elmo growing up so to see the man behind the Muppet was a real treat. I always loved the show The Muppets. Watched it all the time as a kid. It is incredible to get to see the behind the scenes of the show. I loved the movie!
I think I am going to go and see a movie tonight. Hmmm!!! Either Titanic in 3D or Lockout with Guy Pierce. Hmmm!! I just watched the Titanic yesterday...for the umpteenth time. I loved it! To see it in 3D would be super awesome. Will figure that out later.
I did get some action this weekend come to think of it. LOL!!!
After work on Friday I went and partied at one of my customer's home with a few other people. Had a blast there. I woke up Saturday morning on my own and immediately went to look after my little turd. As I was walking back into my building I noticed that there was action happening at the triplex next door. Side note; my landlord owns my building and the one next door. He has them both up for sale. Of course, if my landlord wanted to show my apartment....he would have had to give me notice. I sort of had a gut feeling that if someone is viewing that triplex...they would be viewing my 5-plex. I didn't get ANY notice at all....so I thought..."we'll see what happens!"
Ha! Within 5 minutes of being back in my home, I get a knock on the door. It was a realtor and her client saying that she has an appointment to view my apartment. Ha!!! I told her NO! No you do not have an appointment and NO you can not view my home. Totally unacceptable. She sort of understood and let me be. About 10 minutes later, I get another knock on the door and this time it was my totally inebriated landlord begging me to let a group of 10 people come into my home to view it. Ha!!! Aside from being totally put off, I was put under pressure. Fine!!! Holding my dog and wearing my pjs, I let a group of 10 people go through my home. I was less than impressed....but I am a bit of a push over and thus...I submitted.
I think at that point I was hoping that one of these people would put an offer in so that I could get a new landlord. I should say this; my landlord isn't really that bad. He is mostly unavailable more so than available. He stays away most of the time. I guess that can be a good thing as well. I haven't had any real problems with him. I guess I am slightly annoyed at his behavior from Saturday and so I am taking it out on him in a harsh way.
Whateves!!!
Till tomorrow xo P
