So...I trust that everyone had a wonderful long weekend....fun filled with action and family festivities! Maybe not! LOL
My weekend was special! LOL
Friday night had a wonderful dinner downtown at a Thai restaurant with my dear friend and his wonderful girlfriend. Such a great couple...love them! At one point over dinner, we discuss their trip to Mexico that they are taking as of yesterday. She proceeds to tell me about her trip preparations which include a bikini wax. Apparently she got 'vajazzled'...LMAO! To those of whom who don't know what this means; your vagina gets bedazzled. She got a lady bug put next to her cuch. AWESOME!!! I don't get to spend nearly enough time with this couple. POOH! Shortly after dinner, I could feel that I was coming down with something. My clue was that I got a headache after 2 glasses of wine. That NEVER happens. LOL
Saturday woke up feeling like ASS....to put it mildly. I had major plans for the night and had scheduled a hair appointment for 11:30am that day. Although I was feeling terrible, I insisted on getting my hair done by a new hairstylist that my mom recommended. Well.....let me just say one thing; I waited for over an hour for this lady who happened to get stuck in a storm coming from a funeral. HORRIBLE! How can someone get mad a that? I was far from angry...I was passed out on two chairs in the waiting room!!! The poor woman comes in...sort of frantic but she could see clearly...that I was in poor form myself. So....I told her to take her time, get organized, get a coffee, chill out...I will keep snoozing! LOL
She nudges me awake....tells me she is ready for me. We get started and again...I pass out while she's doing my hair....lol! Good times. Upon completion...I went home and passed out for the rest of the day and night. Sunday woke up still feeling yukky but way better than Saturday. As the day progresses....feeling better and better, so much so, I actually got my shit together and went downtown to visit with one of my best lady friends. SO FUN!!!
Monday had my brilliant fabulous family over! LOVE THEM!!!
All in all....great weekend!
