Well hello there Officer!

LOL....oh my noodle!!!

What a week! So....Sunday, I had to go to Toronto and along the way...on my travels, I get pulled over for speeding. Yup! Typical! Although, I can't really complain, its been 5 years since I have gotten a ticket and now in the last year I have gotten 3.....ouch!!!! Bad news!

I was going 27km/ hr over the limit...which puts me at 87 in a 60 zone and the cop was hanging out behind a hydro poll by Ontario Place. Of course I didn't see him until he walks out into the middle of the Lakeshore Blvd. That takes balls. Thankfully it was a Sunday...no traffic. So I pull over and then had to reverse into a driveway so as to reduce the degree of  danger for the guy. So he walks up to my window...and I think we both might have had a pleasant surprise. LOL He was a friggin knock out....and I am confident that I might have put my Latina charm on him because I walked away with a $25 ticket for 5 km over and no demerit points from what should have been a $200 ticket with 3 demerit points. Good times!

And so, yesterday....trying to figure out how to deal with this ticket. Two numbers are listed;
Set Fine
Total Payable

Well which one do I pay? Set Fine or Total Payable? My mother and I couldn't suss out what to do. So...like a good little girl, I went to the cop shop in Port Credit to ask an officer for some guidance. LOL...!!! Before I continue I think I need to back track just a little bit.

In December, I ran into some trouble with someone...and it got ugly. I felt I had no choice but to involve the police...and so I went to the cop shop in Port Credit to file a report. The ever so handsome police officer that was there...was more than helpful and being in the presence of such a fine man...I felt relieved and ready to get back out into the world....lol!! Goodness....he was breathtakingly handsome...and as I recall...single!

And now back to yesterday....walk into the cop shop...and to my delight....Mr. hotness was there. He remembered me just as I remembered him. Good times!!! I proceeded to ask him to help me figure out which fine to pay. He was more than helpful...and I think he actually tried to chat me up to keep me there a little longer. No skin off my back! More than willing to hang out at the cop shop with a looker. LMAO!!!

So there it is folks...just another day in the life of Paula! Happy Wednesday snow day! I am at work...one of the unlucky ones! xo
