Happy Monday world. Feeling revived today...although incredibly sore from what? I don't know! Had some pretty freaky dreams last night but can't remember them very well. Was awoken at 3am by some little shits letting of fireworks. Who does that? Really!! On a Monday friggin morning. It went on for 15 minutes or so...was tempted to get out of bed, find them and hurt them...but then I for sure wouldn't have been able to get back to sleep.
I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I did! Although Friday day...was HORRIBLE, Friday evening/night was AMAZING!!! Of course, I was in the company of Mr. Fabulous. We went to the Harbourfront in Toronto where I took him to one of my fav restos for dinner and drinks. From there we walked around and visited the tallships that I had sailed way back when....ekkk! I had to reflect on timing. It turns out that I was on those boats 13 years ago. Man....how time flies! From there we went to the Sound Academy for a CD release party for a band...who's name escapes me right now. LOL We got to see a couple other bands open for them; 1) Pharmacy Club and 2) Hello Beautiful. I HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME!!! Loved EVERY second of it. Thank you Mr. Fabulous!!!!
Saturday I took my little nerd for an early walk...loved that! I then spent a few hours packing. Was pretty productive and got a lot done. Have so much still to go! I had a bunch of errands to run in the afternoon and had to hustle to get ready for my bff's fiance's 30th birthday. Had an amazing time there. Got to spend some quality time with my bff and another fabulous woman who is just so awesome...looking forward to building that friendship. Finished the night at 1pm and had to make sure to get some awesome sleep in order to be fresh for the wedding shower yesterday. Which brings us to Sunday, yesterday.
I woke up early to take my little nerd for a walk before I was heading to my gf's (the maid of honor) house to help set up for the event. I got to her place at 11am. By the time I got there...almost everything was ready to go. She did a BRILLIANT job!!! So many great things are coming from this wedding. Not only am I getting fit...lol...but I am also building friendships that existed but needed quality time. Now...we have quality time and I love it! Lady...you know you are!!! You rock! Let's not forget about the BRILLIANT bride whom I think was pleasantly surprised by the event. It was a hit. All in all...it was an amazing weekend!!! Thank you to all that participated to make it the greatness that it was. Loves to you all!!!
