I really don't know where to start today. All I can think about at this very moment in time is; how much fun I had last night. I mean....I had so much fun...a lot of fun! I honestly can't remember the last time I had that much fun. I am still in a bit of shock at how much fun I had last night. I just wrote the word fun 5 times in 4 sentences. That is how much fun I had! LOL
As you know, I went to the Maroon 5 concert last night...but that wasn't all I did. The evening started with some dinner at Shoeless Joes on King St. From there we walked through the CNE to get to the Molson Amphitheatre. It was during this walk that I came to the realization that I friggin LOVE carnivals or whatever you call them. I really really do. With that said, I was sure that we; Mr. Fabulous and I, would end up there after the concert. Moving along, we arrive just in time to get some drinks and get to our seats before Mr. Adam Levine graced us with his presence. OMG.....that man is friggin sexy. I mean....mind blowing sexy. Uggghhhh......!!! LOL I felt a little bad for Mr. Fabulous. First of all....the crowd was primarily women....and the dudes that showed up did get a bit of flack. Meh....whateves. Further more; I was standing and dancing and singing my heart out....LMAO, while Mr. Fabulous (who doesn't really like this band at all) sat and tried to enjoy himself. I think he did...but probably because he was laughing at how into it I was. I felt like I was 10 years old again at the New Kids On The Block concert. LMAO! Good times! BRILLIANT SHOW!!! Loved every second of it. We left right after they were done. Not too interested in TRAIN. Plus, I really was super jazzed to hit up the CNE and OMG....what a hoot that was!!!
The access from Ontario Place that lead into the CNE put us right in the heart of ride central. Well....within a minute I had tickets in my hand and was lined up for this ride called Polar Express. If I recall correctly, this ride is based on a book. I don't recall the train in the book going backwards and yet....the ride did. I LOVED IT! It went so fast that I was literally squishing the shit out of Mr. Fabulous due to the gravitational pull. I was laughing so hard, I could barely breathe and Mr. Fabulous started to worry for me. LMAO! I tried to tell him I was ok....but was struggling with saying the words. So going to do that ride again tomorrow! After that we went to this shitty haunted house thing. It doesn't deserve another word of mention. From there we went on this thing called the Fire Ball. Did that one twice because it was AMAZING!! And to cap off the night we went on this next ride called Crazy Mouse. It looked like a ton of fun from the sidewalk but turned out to be quite boring. I don't recommend that one. And then....we left. Like I already said; we are going back tomorrow and we are both going to get the wrist band that allows you to do everyone for one price. YAY!!!
I just got back from a killer workout with my trainer. Did some much needed boxing. I have bruising in between my knuckles....just how I like it! YAY!!! From my much needed intense workout I went to the Ministry of Transportation to pay them that ridiculous amount of money they make you pay to reinstate your license....GRRR! Good thing I did some boxing already.
Well folks....I really should get some of my freelance work completed before I head to Toronto to visit with one of my bffs.
