No one to blame but myself! This SUCKS!!!

Hello there....

So on June 1st I went to court to dispute a speeding ticket I got back in the day. I had the fine brought down from $200 to $45. I gave myself 60 days to pay it.....but for some reason I thought it was 90 days. Ha....what a loser!!!! Today I look at the document telling me how long I had and I see 60 days. F***!!! I figured....I should go today to the court house to pay and I also thought for one flaky moment that I wouldn't suffer any consequences for being 2 weeks late. Man was I wrong! I go to the cashier and she tells me that not only do I have to pay double ($80) for the ticket but that my license is also suspended and that I have to wait 4 business days before going to the Ministry of Transportation to pay $150 to have it reinstated.

How about them apples?!

As angry as I would like to be...I really have no one to blame but myself. I always had that document telling me how long I had to pay the ticket. I shouldn't have counted on my recollection for timing. POOH!!!

Thankfully, I don't have much driving to do over the next 5 days.

I got to see one of my bffs last night. So great to have her home. She was away for over a week doing a conference thing. We had some laughs, got caught up on our gossip and had a drink. Always a pleasure.

Looking forward to this evening. I get to spend it with Mr. Fabulous. I have no idea what we are doing and that is ok. Like I previously mentioned; I like surprises!!
